The Client

Tynker

Tynker is an innovative platform that teaches kids coding and computer programming through fun, interactive lessons. Their web and mobile apps offer a wide range of courses designed to make learning to code accessible for children of all ages.

The Project

I was tasked with designing over 100 thumbnail cards for Tynker's web and mobile app. These cards are the visual entry point to each lesson — they have to be informative and enticing at once, capturing the essence of a lesson and motivating the user to click.

Each card centers a unique logo over a background that signals what the coding lesson is about. The design process was a constant balance of aesthetics against clarity: visually appealing, but never at the cost of accurately representing the content underneath.
