The Client

Jackbox Games

Jackbox Games started out as Jellyvision, makers of the famous You Don't Know Jack series in the 90s. Today they're a leading studio specializing in interactive party games built to bring people together. The Jackbox Party Pack series is renowned for its accessibility and inclusivity, making it a hit at gatherings worldwide.

The Project

As a contract artist for Jackbox Games, I contributed significantly to the development of The Devils and the Details. Over the course of one month I created more than 200 vector illustrations featured throughout the game.

They ranged from character designs to environmental elements to interactive assets, each crafted with close attention to detail and an understanding of the game's thematic elements. The work enriched the visual experience for players and fed into the game's overall appeal.

Through close collaboration with the development team and strict adherence to timelines, I delivered high-quality artwork efficiently — the kind of fast-paced, creatively demanding environment I do my best work in.

Jellyvision was the very lucky home for Yoshi's artistic excellence for almost nine years. He's a multi-faceted creator and knows how to handle high volume, high pressure project work as well as iterative product work, which can require two different mindsets.
